Full Day Mariners Integrated Preschool

REGISTRATION OPENS SOON FOR 26-27 YEAR
Once you complete registration process online through PowerSchool, you will then receive an email with directions on how to make your deposit payment.  Once payment has been submitted and confirmed, your spot will be secure.

Narragansett Mariners Integrated Preschool is open to children who reside in Narragansett or whose parent is an active employee of the Narragansett School System or the Town of Narragansett. Our program supports the whole child and reflects the diverse community we serve. In partnership with families, we align our curriculum with the Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards to prepare children for future success. Through play-based learning and exploration, children develop independence, confidence, and early leadership skills.

Options include 3 full-days (M-W-F) or 5 full-days

Daily Hours are 8:50 am-3:35 pm and held at Narragansett Elementary School

Program Monthly Pricing
  5 Full Days = $480.00/month
3 Full Days = $288.00/month

Within the application, families can outline their preference of the amount of days they would like to participate.

 Once you submit your application online, it will be reviewed by the administrative staff and someone will connect with you if more information is needed before processing.
In addition to the completed form as well as your account being in good standing, we must receive the $250 deposit to hold your child's spot within the program.


Who is Eligible?

When applying to the Narragansett Preschool Program, students must:

  • Be residents of Narragansett, Rhode Island, or children of a Narragansett town employee (Enrollment for town employee (non-resident) applicants is based on program availability beginning July 2026.)
  •  Be at least 3 years old prior to starting the program
  •  Students are expected to be toilet trained before the start of the school year. Individual needs related to an IEP or documented medical or health conditions will be considered.
 

Child Outreach Developmental Screening (Required)

All children enrolling in the preschool program must complete a Child Outreach developmental screening.   Child Outreach is Rhode Island’s universal screening program for children ages 3–5 and includes brief checks of:

  • Vision and hearing
  •  Speech and language skills
  •  Social-emotional development
  •  Overall development (motor skills, language, and early learning)

 Important: All town employees applying as non-resident applicants must complete a Child Outreach screening before starting school.

Screening Location & Scheduling
Child Outreach screenings are held at Narragansett Elementary School and are coordinated by the district’s Child Outreach Coordinator.  To request a screening appointment, please email: Susan Alexander, Child Outreach Coordinator | [email protected]
