Welcome to the Narragansett Special Education Action Committee (NSEAC)

The mission of the Narragansett Special Education Action Committee (NSEAC) is to enhance communication among students, parents, community members, administrators, and the Board of Education to improve special education policies and practices. We provide a platform for raising questions, voicing concerns, and offering input regarding Special Services and the Board.
NSEAC promotes collaboration to foster inclusion, understanding, and support for all children receiving special education services. As a district-wide volunteer committee, we offer advice, information, and resources to parents of children with special educational needs.
We work closely with the office of student services to identify needs from preschool through transition. As parents of children with learning differences, we share our experiences and information to empower you in advocating for your child. NSEAC serves as a supportive and encouraging forum to ensure effective communication, mutual respect, and the delivery of appropriate services for all students in our community.
